Leaves are finally starting to show themselves on the trees here in Vermont. Such a soothing sight. I've missed them. They remind me to pause for a moment in the midst of all the different projects I'm elbow deep in right now. I haven't posted in about a month mainly because I've been posting away on Sweet Violet Bride. It has taken more effort than I ever imagined to make my dream of a wedding blog a reality, but it is starting to take shape and I've had the pleasure of featuring some amazing photographers and gorgeous weddings, styled shoots, and engagement sessions already!
In my studio, I've had so many ideas for woodland bridal pieces and wish there were 48 hours in a day, but I've started laying them all out for production. I've been seeking out vintage millinery materials, such as leaves and stamens for a beautiful couture look. Here is a little glimpse of some of the bits and pieces I am working on.
